Invisible Hearing Aids

Invisible Hearing Aid Specialists

Many people feel self-conscious about wearing hearing aids, and many suffer through the discomfort and struggle of hearing loss rather than being fitted with a device that will help them. If you don’t like the traditional hearing aid, we have what you need.

Invisible hearing aids are considered the ideal aesthetic aid due to its simplicity and inconspicuous design. Gaining in popularity with patients across Perth, the invisible aid can be perfectly positioned inside the ear canal for comfort and ease. It’s been developed through years and is now much smaller than the original, which was not particularly adaptable to help with unique hearing problems.

Harmony is not contracted to any particular hearing aid manufacturer because we do not believe in the one-size-fits-all philosophy. We pay particular attention to the medical and scientific research that goes into adapting hearing aids and we adapt our products to suit each patient.

Every patient is different and the struggle of one is not necessarily the struggle of another, even when dealing with the same hearing loss problem. Our personalised services ensure that patients are given the best invisible hearing aids to suit their unique requirements. We also provide a series of progressive appointments for hearing aid fittings, at no extra cost. As we said, personalised service is our priority.

IIC hearing aids

The IIC (Invisible-In-Canal) hearing aids are small, fit snugly into the ear and are invisible in the canal. Designed for patients with mild to moderate hearing problems, this small technological wonder replicates high-frequency sounds and turns them into lower frequencies, allowing you to hear sounds easily and naturally.

Fitted with innovative technology that is designed for pure noise reduction and speech preservation, the ITC reduces the echo and makes your life much easier in social surroundings such as restaurants, cafes, etc. The device has a remote control accessory that allows for easy adjustment of volume, as and when required.

We stock a variety of top quality brands, which include Phonak®, Oticon®, Starkey®, GN Resound®, and Siemens®. Our ITC hearing aids are top of the range at half the price.

Who qualifies?

A large list of clients includes many veterans and pensioners who have dealt with deteriorating hearing loss over the years. However, hearing loss can affect anyone at any age, which is why our hearing aids are uniquely fitted for each patient because not everyone has the same condition.

Loss of hearing starts to affect lifestyles and can hugely impact confidence, relationships and self-esteem. Harmony Hearing has treated patients who need hearing management solutions, and we have seen patients walk away with a new lease on life, which is why we welcome patients of all ages.

Oticon Invisible Hearing Aids

Oticon introduced a new Opn invisible hearing aid at the end of 2018 alongside the other Opn custom hearing aids. They say that the new IIC is the smallest invisible hearing aid they have ever produced. In fact, they say that the new smaller components and shell size will ensure that the IIC will physically fit more people than ever before. Oticon think that their new Opn IICs will physically fit up to 80% of ears. That is a huge improvement on what has gone before. The Opn has proven to be an outstanding hearing aid delivering massive benefits for users.

Phonak Invisible Hearing Aids

Phonak have a couple of invisible hearing aids on offer right now. Their Nano hearing aid model has been available through a few of the ranges and since the introduction of the Virto B, their new Titanium hearing device has been available.

Virto B-Titanium Invisible Hearing Aids

Phonak announced that they were introducing a new Virto hearing aid type as part of their Virto Belong range. The Belong range is Phonak’s last full model platform. The Titanium is just that, a titanium shelled custom hearing aid. It is in fact the very first hearing aid made from titanium.

Originally Phonak had some problems with this device, mainly because they didn’t have the experience of working with titanium as a material. The hearing aids were not nearly as small as had been promised and there were quite a few unhappy people. However, Phonak re-launched the devices in late 2018 and there have been few problems since.

Signia Invisible Hearing Aids

Signia has a couple of invisible hearing devices available right now. While one device is truly an invisible hearing aid, the other is really only invisible if your ear is big enough.

Insio Nx IIC

Signia has only introduced the Insio Nx IIC lately, in November 2018 to be precise as the final part of their Nx range introduction. While most of the rest of the Nx range are direct connection Bluetooth hearing aids (Made For iPhone), the IIC isn’t. The device is too small to accommodate the technology. The hearing aid is available in three levels of technology: the 7px, the 5px and the 3px.

Signia Insio Silk Nx

The Silk is the device that might be invisible, depending on your ear size. The Silk is an instant fit custom hearing aid, something that Signia has had available in the past. However, they say that Silk is the first completely-in-the-canal (CIC) hearing aid that’s both almost invisible and ready to wear. The Silk is also based on their latest Nx chipset and Signia says it is designed to fit up to 80% of all ear canals. As I said, while they call the device a CIC, for some lucky people it is actually an invisible hearing aid. The Silk is a modular type hearing aid that uses a flexible Click Sleeve to provide an immediate and comfortable fit. There are several sizes of click sleeve to suit different sizes of ear canal.
